Steve Jobs comes to the screen for the second time
It looks as though Aaron Sorkin’s long-in-development biopic about Apple visionary Steve Jobs will finally be coming to light. Universal Studios gave us our first look at the upcoming flick earlier yesterday (May 19), a short trailer featuring Michael Fassbender as the volatile tech inventor, and Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, and Seth Rogen in supporting roles. This already looks 10x better than Ashton Kutcher’s rendition of Jobs from two years ago. Time will tell if this version was worth the Sony email hacks slog that it was caught up in.
Steve Jobs is coming to theaters on October 9th and will be directed by Danny Boyle. With Boyle behind the camera, I’d imagine that we’re in some pretty capable hands. Watch the first look here.
