2. Game 6 Of The Eastern Conference Semifinals (Washington Wizards vs. Atlanta Hawks)
In a highly competitive series, the team with the second best record in the NBA was able to pull it off and advance. A big congratulations to the Atlanta Hawks as they were able to show and prove the critics that they are a true collective unit who the public should not shy away from. Talk about team ball at it’s finest, Hawk all stars such as Jeff Teague, Paul Millsap and Al Horford have been nothing but spectacular for the good folks in Atlanta. But fans let’s just be honest, if the NBA was handing out playoff MVP’s you had no choice but to give it to Paul Pierce. The 37-year-old vet is proving to fans like myself that in the case of competitive fire vs father time, the truth shall set you free. Prime example of this is Pierce’s outstanding performance against Toronto and his amazing clutch performance against the Hawks. Even though he was just a couple of seconds late from sending Game 6 into overtime, hoop fans have no choice but to salute the former NBA champ as he proves to us that he still has it. We see why Washington brought you there Paul. Clutch shot after clutch shot during crunch time, defenders just CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!
