Slick Rick’s fourth album “The Art Of Storytelling” came out on May 25th, 1999. This was the final studio album by the British-America rapper. It was released on Def Jam Recordings. Some notable producers on the project were DJ Clark Kent and Kid Capri. This album proved to be his highest-charting album by peaking at number eight on the Billboard 200. And it also went number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and ended up getting certified gold by the RIAA within a month of release.

He has amazing story telling abilities on the records here, and keeps the listener focused on what will be said next.
