For some time now, Eminem has been dropping little tidbits to fans as to whether or not he would release any new music. He holds up his end of the bargain today by unveiling his latest tune titled “Phenomenal.” Produced by DJ Khalil, the track finds Marshall doing his patented quick time rhyming while also crooning on the hook. The audio will live on the soundtrack for the upcoming boxing flick Southpaw, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Em’s rap comrade 50 Cent. With that said, it was also revealed that Eminem serves as the executive producer for the entire soundtrack, so you can expect to hear a heavy hip-hop influence.
The film hits theaters July 24th and the single is currently available on iTunes. Check give it a listen below.
