A high school teacher is in hot water after asking his students for a silly extra credit request. According to Madame Noire, the counselor from Alameda, California asked his after school students to look in their parents drawer and take a selfie with their adult toys or condoms for extra credit. Parents of the students want the counselor fired for making such a request to the students.
Administrators from the school say that the counselor’s comments were not made for students to follow but was simply making a joke. Parents of the students, Kimberly Cobene and Evangeline Garcia, do not believe that it was joke and feel that the counselor was serious.
“If the kids took it as a joke, then why did one kid take it serious and actually did the extra credit work, and was shown as an example in class?” said Garcia.
The parents continued to complain that the counselor is still teaching at the school, and want him fired, but administrators have yet to relieve him of his duties.
