So i’m sure you high school basketball enthusiasts heard of Tacko Fall, the 7’6 high school basketball player who made headlines last year for being 7’6 in high school right? Well, there is a kid a few years younger and 3 inches shorter making headlines as of late.

Meet Chol Marial.

Chol Marial is the tallest middle-schooler in the world listed at 7’3 and is currently in the 8th grade. Completely dominating the Ohio AAU circuit this pass weekend, the Class of 2019 prospect ran with Team Florida and completely obliterated the competition which in response, raised eyebrows to a few parents and spectators wondering if he really is in the 8th grade.
