The evolution of the G-Shock watch has been outstanding.

Last night G-Shock had its Camo Ball at Center 458 in Chelsea to celebrate the launch of a new style. Displayed in clear cases, guests were able to view different color styles; Whether you wanted the traditional camouflage color, or maybe even a “50 Shades of Red” camouflage print the choices were there. The G-Shock models donned in camouflage sequin cocktail Michael Kors dresses were telling guests the functions and persuading us on why we should buy one.

The venue was filled with a bunch of power players including Sharon Carpenter of Revolt TV, Musician Elle Varner, and Arzo Anwar from Bravo’s Blood Sweet and Heels. If the drink specials ranging from Henessey and Coke or a Silver Bullet wasn’t enough, DJ SOSUPERSAM and DJ Wonder had everyone doing the “Cha Cha”. Not only did G-Shock share a floor-to-ceiling timeline of the history of camouflage, but they also incorporated actual military cargo, including a camouflaged photo booth.
