When rappers say that they’re into art, what does even really mean? Do they like hanging out at galleries and sipping free champagne? Do they study the works of the greats to draw inspiration and relate to in everyday life? Or do they just say it because Jay Z says it’s cool. Well, for SHIRT, he doesn’t even have to make any of these claims. It comes across in his music. The emcee released a new song over one of his favorite Springtime Carnivore songs, “Two Scars,” with the artwork being a picture of Picasso and his wife, Jacqueline Roque. While SHIRT brags a lot in his rhymes, they come across more as a matter of fact instead of rubbing it in your face. Do you think you could handle that kind of lifestyle? Somebody’s gotta do it.
