As great as it sounds, Killer Mike is not eligible to run for Senate
ATL rap giant and political pundit Killer Mike announced that he would be running in Georgia’s 55th District special election, which is to be held today.
Killer Mike, whose honorable name is Michael Fender, told all of his fans via social media that he would be running for office in today’s election and that if they wanted to vote for him, they must write his name on the ballot as their Senate pick. He eve coined his own candidacy phrase, “If I Win, We Win”. The only problem is that Mike never officially registered as a write-in candidate.
Fender later announced that he would indeed run one day and that everyone should remain active in politics.
