K. Dot joins the “Classic Man” on a scorching remix
Jidenna‘s “Classic Man” was released in February, but the up-tempo summer banger has caught fire in the early warm-weather months thanks to a stellar music video, and some marquee performances from the Brooklyn resident. As Wondaland Records, Janelle Monae‘s Epic Records-helmed movement, plans its debut release, The Eephus, the final track of the EP has been liberated: a remix to Jidenna’s hit, featuring none other than Kendrick Lamar, who opens the record up with warning shots, then dives into a ridiculous verse after the catchy hook.
