Justine returns with a love anthem
19-year old Brooklyn native Justine Skye broke on to the scene last year with her “Collide” single, which features Tyga and is produced by DJ Mustard, and she’s returning this year for her encore presentation, the Emotionally Unavailable EP. Skye has slowly built steam since “Collide,” and we got a tease of what she’s been working on when she dropped “Bandit” earlier this year.
On “I’m Yours,” she links up with the newest addition to the Roc, Vic Mensa–who’s prepping his debut album, Traffic, for a 2015 release–who helps to close the song out with a sing-songy verse that fits right in with Skye’s yearns for love, reminiscent of some of the work he did on his debut solo project, INNANETTAPE.
