The irony of the timing for this song is uncanny. The duo of Light Skin Mac 11 and Cartier Dave release a new song about money that features Jace of Retro Sushi and former Two-9 member, Key!, while Key! argues with Father over royalties from “Look At Wrist.” “Money” has a hook about unforeseen riches–“I didn’t see it coming.” Aside from all of that, before Two-9 signed to Ear Drummers and Mike Will, we have a feeling that they knew what it was like to have some extra padding in the pocket. The drum centered beat was co-produced by Key! and DJ Fu.
