Fresh off releasing “The Knowing,” Anik Khan returns to drop his debut music video for “Shadows.” The song, produced by EOM, is a reflective journey about identity struggles the Bengali-born, Queens-bred Khan faced growing up.
For Anik, “Shadows” represents the duality that is a part of every immigrant’s story, something readily apparent in the Jordan Riggs (“Thinkin Bout You” by Frank Ocean, “FireFly” by Childish Gambino)-directed video. The second half of the video, inspired by Street Fighter, features the uptempo banger “Yoga Flame.” Both songs will appear on his upcoming EP, I Don’t Know Yet, dropping next month.
