Security video has been released of Florida State quarterback De’Andre Johnson punching a women in a bar, after she swung at him for being unruly. The incident took place at Yianni’s nightclub on June 24th, in Tallahassee, after the woman felt Johnson was aggressively trying to push his way past her to get to the bar.

Black Sports Online has reported that a source close to the situation heard the woman call Johnson the “N-word.”


TMZ reports that the State Attorney’s office had released the tape of the 21-year old FSU student raising her fist to warn Johnson. She then punches him in the face with her left fist.

Johnson, 19, then snaps back with a right hand causing a injuries to the women’s eye and nose. Johnson has been dismissed from the Florida State Seminoles, and charged with misdemeanor battery.
