Y-3, the storied and coveted fashion collaboration between designer Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas, has presented their much anticipated Spring/Summer 2016 fashion line. Footwear is consistently an aspect of concentration for the famed designer and this season is no different. Titled the “3 stripes in Motion” collection, the clothing compilation takes inspiration from the body in motion. The sneaker models presented are both familiar and new, with the ever popular Qasa high top revealed in an all white colorway. The japanese kicks are of a mixed material construction and features a striking rubber Tubular outsole. With the introduction of the “Kyujo” sneaker, Y-3 is not just resting on its laurels and attempting to expand their footwear empire. In low and high top formats, the Kyujo is set to appear with black and white uppers and technical knit fabrics line the interior of the shoe.
