Future Announces ‘Dirty Sprite 2’ Release Date, Drops First Single

It’s Hendrix time

Future has spent the first half of 2015 absolutely tearing it up. Off the momentum of his Halloween mixtape, Monster, which provided one of the year’s biggest rap records, “Commas,” the Atlanta native dropped two mixtapes–Beast Mode and 56 Nights–in the first few months of the year, toured with Drake, and teased new music non-stop. For now, the teasing is over.

Last night, Future announced that the highly-anticipated sequel to his breakthrough Dirty Sprite mixtape, Dirty Sprite 2, will be released on Friday, July 17. Along with the announcement, the album’s iTunes pre-order link was also released, featuring two previously released records (“Commas” and “Real Sisters”), and a brand new song, “Blow A Bag,” produced by Future’s go-to guys, Southside, Metro Boomin and Sonny Digital.
