Police claim that the 18 year old woman committed suicidekist an hour after being taken into custody
Just one day following the tragic death of Sandra Bland, the woman who died in an Texas jail who authorities claim committed suicide, Kindra Chapman, 18, was found dead in an Alabama jail cell almost immediately after being arrested.
Chapman was charged with first degree robbery after allegedly stealing a person’s cell phone last Tuesday. After she was subsequently arrested, she was taken to the detention center, where she was last seen alive at 6:30pm EST. When the police went to check on her an hour later,cage was unresponsive. Chapman was then taken Brookwood Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead from asphyxiation.
This occurred the day after Sandra Bland was found dead in her jail cell in Texas and it was similarly reported by the police that she committed suicide. It has been recently reported that Bland’s autopsy report reveals that the 28 year old newly employed woman committed suicide.
