Travis Scott raged a tad bit too hard yesterday

Travis Scott has made a name himself in a number of ways over the past couple years. One of those ways involves the viscous, emotion and drug-charged ballads he packs into his projects (see: Days Before Rodeo, or his Soundcloud), and the bangers he crafts for others, Jay Z, Kanye West, T.I. and French Montana among them.

Another way involves the manic, rave-like nature of his live show, which he appropriately (and fondly) refers to as “the Rodeo.” His energy is unmatched, and over the past year, he’s made it a point to assist the crowd’s (often physical) dismissal of a venue’s security detail, optioning for vaguely organized chaos as he runs through a medley of his high-powered records. This year’s Summer Jam was a rather high-profile episode of Scott’s antics, as the crowd overtook the VIP and Media section of the Festival stage, and Scott took it upon himself to publicly embarrass one of Hog 97’s photographers, halting his show to order the cameraman off the stage.

Yesterday, however, Scott’s will for rage got the best of him, and he was arrested following his Lollapalooza set, which was cut short after he implored the crowd to overrun security, and thousands of rowdy fans pushed forward towards the stage, resulting in several of them ending up on stage with Scott. According to an ABC report, Office of Emergency Management spokeswoman Melissa Stratton says Scott fled the scene after the chaotic end of his set, but he was later taken into custody.

According to Stratton, Scott will be charged with disorderly conduct. You can watch videos of the madness here, here, and here.
