Tommy Hilfiger launched Rafael Nadal’s ambassadorship with a sexy pop-up tennis tournament yesterday in Bryant Park.
On August 25, Tommy Hilfiger unveiled its Fall 2015 ad campaign featuring tennis star Nadal, the brand’s new ‘TH Bold’ fragrance and tailored collection as well their latest underwear collection. In celebration of Hilfiger’s newest underwear collection a fun and sexy tennis match was held in Bryant Park, hosted by Jane Lynch and Lake Bell. The tennis match featured 14-time Grand Slam winner and some of New York’s most fashionable all sporting signature Tommy Hilfiger outfits.
A few of Nadal’s opponents included top models Chanel Iman, Constance Jablonski, Hannah Davis, Noah Mills, Arthur Kulkov and Akin Akman. The sexy twist to these tennis matches involved stripping each time an opponent scored thereby showcasing the new Tommy Hilfiger men’s and women’s underwear designs. Tommy Hilfiger said “We’ve revamped our men’s underwear collection with a look that’s modern, athletic and bold, and Nadal is the ultimate global brand ambassador for this new direction.”
Nadal was also excited to be representing the brand, “I love how this event brings together fashion and sport with Tommy’s signature twist – it was the perfect way to kick-off my partnership with Tommy Hilfiger.” Other V.I.P. atendees included Nat Wolff and Martha Stewart. The Fall 2015 collection features a special four-way flex stretch technology in new premium fabrics providing the best of style and comfort.
