Cousins will get the start over Robert Griffin III,who hasn’t passed his concussion test as of yet. The situation still seems weird, because Griffin was quoted saying that he expected to pass the concussion test and play in the Redskins third preseason game.

The issue between RGIII and the Redskins might boil over concerning his playing time, but it seems that issue of his concussion is a non-factor.

Cousins started five games last season due to an ankle injury Griffin suffered in Week 2 of the season. Cousins is 2-7 as a starter in the NFL.
