Dallas, TX native Post Malone is without a doubt one of the more popular artists in the Hip-Hop world in the past few months following his breakthrough single “White Iverson.” His success has not been without it’s drawbacks as many have been labeling him an “industry plant” or even calling him a caricature of Hip-Hop culture with his cornrows and gold fronts. Malone took all of the criticism in stride but in the past week, a 2-year old vine video of him and a friend surfaced on the web of him using the dreaded “n-word.”

Since then, the criticism has mounted and the newcomer recently held an interview with DJ Drama and addressed the matter directly.
