Postal Madness, The Off Broadway Play Makes A Hilarious, Triumphant Return At Teatro Latea In New York City On September 10th!
After a successful two weeks of sold out shows during its debut in 2014, creator Michael Anthony, director Frances Lozada and writer Perry Crow announce the highly anticipated return of the comedic off Broadway play, Postal Madness at Teatro Latea on September 10th in New York City.
Have you ever waited on line in the post office with only one postal worker to assist 100 people and wondered… what’s going on in the back? Have you ever wondered why going to the post office to purchase stamps and mail off a package has to become such an adventure?
After being employed by the United States Postal Service for over 30 years, Michael Anthony created the Third Stone Post Office as the setting for 8 very dynamic, culturally and ethnically different characters who take you behind the scenes of real life situations that take place in the post office. At Third Stone, workers solidarity trumps authority and management is the scapegoat for everything that can and will go wrong! This is where all the “postal madness” takes place!
“
When asked about the play Postal Madness, Anthony stated “To all of my future Postal Madness fans, this project is based on true comical situations at the post office and I am excited because this type of play has never been done before. After working in what I consider to be the most lively and animated post office since 1985, I cant wait to share these characters with you. Postal Madness is sure to be the most talked about off Broadway play in NYC!”
