At the conclusion of this year’s VMAs, Kanye West announced that he’d be running for president in 2020, pretty much affirming that we’d see the matchup of the century, assuming Hillary Clinton will either be trying her hand at re-election, or continuing her bid to become the country’s first female Commander-in-Chief.
Ok well, not really. The odds of Yeezy actually suiting up and making an appearance at a televised debate are about as slim as the odds of North’s forthcoming sibling being named South, but it’s still a fun proposition to play with. Mrs. Clinton apparently feels the same way.
While on a recent episode of Extra, Clinton offered some advice to the 2020 hopeful.
Well, if I’m going for my second term, to wait four years, but if I’m not … be sure he has comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of walking involved.
Not a bad piece of advice from a real hopeful, especially considering Kanye’s into fashion. He might want to make sure his Yeezy Boost series includes some supportive trainers.
