St. Louis based newcomer Doughboy has been enjoying massive success as of late as a result of his breakthrough single “Break Da Knob,” which has taken him from the streets of the midwest to the major platforms such as MTV and terrestrial radio throughout the nation. As the single continues to climb, Doughboy partners up with video director Gabriel Hart for the glitzy video for “Break Da Knob.” The single, which has a bouncy tempo and cheerful vibe, is matched by the equally exuberant video which finds him parlaying in some of the most scenic locations the world has to offer. Doughboy is not all fun and games though, as he has recently launched a “Stop The Violence” essay contest in his native St. Louis in order for the youth of his community to share their stories as well as offer solutions to the city’s high crime rate.
