He has blessed the music world by producing for artists like Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, the Game, and Eminem to name a few, but he’s blown the doors off the corporate Hip-Hop gates. After Apple purchased Beats Music for $3 billion last year, Dre walked away with a $620 million paycheck, and this year, Beats 1 Radio is streaming in 100 countries, and Apple Music could soon become the industry gold standard for streaming services. Not to mention, Straight Outta Compton spent 3 weeks as the box office #1, and his first album in nearly 16 years, Compton: The Soundtrack, sold over 250k in its first week. Not bad Dre. Not bad at all.
