How famous do you have to be to get the President of the United States to crash your wedding? Don’t ask this couple, they wouldn’t know.
Stephanie and Brian Tobe tied the knot on the 18th hole of The Lodge at Torrey Pines, and who did they see out there taking fairway hacks with a 9-iron? Barack Obama, that’s who.
The couple, who turned out to be avid supporters of our current POTUS, tried their best to play it cool while the Commander in Chief took his swings, but eventually, Obama spared them the trouble, walked over and congratulated the young couple, and even posed for a couple photos. At one point, Mrs. Tobe admits, she ended up running down a hill to get the perfect photo with the prez.
