The internet is an amazing place, and when it collides with people in the corridors of real life, only greatness ensues.
Remember a couple days ago, when a guy managed to tag the Netflix sign at their California headquarters with “and chill,” ensuring that the hashtag sensation would remain a figment of pop culture eternally? This is something similar to that.
Last year, during a post-game press conference, Derrick Rose‘s son, sitting in his lap, made an incredulous face, as if a reporter had just asked the silliest of questions, and he was silently willing his father not to dignify it with an answer. Exhibit A:
It was no Riley Curry‘s rendition of Big Sean and Drake‘s “Blessed,” but it got the job done. The internet had a field day with it. Exhibit B:
So, in an effort to immortalize one of the great post-game moments of the 2014-2015 season, Derrick Rose, fresh off a terrific performance in a close victory over the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder, donned a t-shirt of his son’s infamous face while in the locker room speaking with reporters.
