A Tribe Called Quest‘s now seminal debut album “People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm” celebrated 25 years this past spring. With that, the Jamaica, Queens, NY collective are slated to re-release the set this Friday November 17th, digitally remastered, along with three new remixes to boot. Two of the prior redux versions have already been revealed by Pharrell Williams and Cee-Lo Green. This time, North Carolina rap superstar J. Cole lets go of his. The MC/Producer adds a new spin on the albums biggest single “Can I Kick It?” The track doesn’t showcase any new bars from Cole but he reworks the instrumental, giving a light smooth groove.
