Fans of MTV‘s Jackass and Viva La Bam will be saddened to learn that Vincent “Don Vito” Margera, the uncle of Bam Margera, died in Philadelphia earlier this morning. He was 59.
Don Vito’s health has been declining since last month, in which was hospitalized and fell into a coma due to ongoing complications with his kidney and liver. He succumbed to these conditions this morning, reportedly passing away from kidney and liver failure, according to information TMZ received from Bam’s mother April Margera.
Don Vito will be remembered by fans for his short temper and the prank wars between himself and his nephew Bam, on Viva La Bam during the shows 2003 to 2006 run.
