NBC News has recently made it public that actor Charlie Sheen is set to appear on the Today Show Tuesday morning for an exclusive live interview with Matt Lauer. Sheen, will reportedly be making a “personal announcement” and disclosing that he is HIV positive. A tabloid shared that the 50-year-old has been keeping his diagnosis a secret for years.
Sheen was famously fired from his starring role on the sitcom “Two And A Half Men” back in 2011. The fallout was swift and very public, since then, he has remained largely out of the public eye.
