Such is the case with Walterboro, South Carolina MC Nick Grant. Possessing a strong skill set with lyrical dexterity, vivid imagery and a hopeful message, Grant grew up studying rap legends Big Daddy Kane and Rakim, which is a rarity for someone at his age.

Nick recently unveiled the official music video for “The Jungle,” which finds him waxing poetic about the ills of his generation but also meshing it out with a melody that is digestible to even the most fringe rap listener.
