Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie announced today via Instagram he’s been diagnosed with kidney cancer.
In the caption—which was deleted shortly thereafter—Boosie asked for prayers from his fans, saying “prayer is power. that’s why I’m letting the world know. prayfaboosie.”
Reports claim the caption was deleted because the Boosie’s camp was unhappy with his decision to share his diagnosis. More news is forthcoming.
Born Torrence Hatch in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Boosie, 33, has been suffering from diabetes for a number of years.
