The video features M.I.A. alongside dozens of refugees as they travel over wire fences, pack together on tiny boats and journey off into the sea together. The politically charged track is exactly what fans hope to see from M.I.A. and it’s also refreshing to see the video was directed by the artist herself.

The hard-hitting song features a series of rhetorical questions such as, “Borders, what’s up with that? / Identities, what’s up with that? / The new world, what’s up with that?”
