2. Tonsil Trouble (Season 12, Episode 1)
Cartman caught the H.I.V virus by getting his tonsils removed. Spiteful as he is, the fourth grader ended up giving his disease to his friend Kyle. On a mission to cure themselves of the H.I.V virus, Kyle and Cartman seek out Magic Johnson to see how he lives with H.I.V only to discover that the only way to cure the virus is to inject $100,000 in your veins. The irony of this episode eludes to the theory that has been shared for almost two decades now, the pharmaceutical industry makes more money by treating illnesses as opposed to cures. Thus sacrificing the general well-being of a nation for profit.
