Trey Songz has had an impeccable mixtape run as an R&B singer, and he’s followed up Intermission with To Whom It May Concern, a DJ Drama-hosted string of viscous, moody R&B joints that show off every facet of what’s made the Virginia R&B singer so good for so long. Songz tapped into some edgier production this go-round, getting with Mano, the producer of The Weeknd’s druggy, shadowy chart-topper “The Hills,” for the project’s intro, “Blessed,” which features a Trey Songz we’re not that accustomed to, but one that is welcomed to stick around for as long as he wants.
