Renowned lifestyle collaborator Concepts has unveiled their latest ode to money, Miami and the hustle lifestyle. This time reworking the Asics GEL-Respector sneaker, two creative forces have come together for a release that focuses on the primary drug fascination of 1980’s Miami.
The sneaker is outfitted in a bold green upper that rests on a white midsole possessing embossed Asics branding and a gum outsole. Materials chosen are premium and unique with a 3m overlay and a smooth to the touch buttery suede featured on the coca plant inspired design. Concepts are known to fully realize their visions of footwear with a themed packaging and this release sees the sneaker box outfitted in a U.S. dollar print.
The Concepts x Asics GEL-Respector is set to release online and in-store at Concept’s Cambrige and New York locations on December 5. Miami based fans of the runners are in for a treat but must pay close attention to the Concepts Twitter and Instagram feeds in the next few days. A secret undisclosed retail store will serve as a themed interactive hub for the Florida neighborhood inspired kicks.
