Daniel Jacobs continues to add onto his remarkable story of defeating cancer and returning to the ring to compete in the Middleweight division. Last night, Jacobs squared off against friend and fellow Brooklyn native Peter Quillin and immediately went after him at the sound of the bell. The bout was put to a stop during the first round after the duo traded shots at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Delivering one devastating blow to the head, the referee had seen enough being that Quillin’s legs were wobbly, handing the fighter his first career loss.
