The highly anticipated rematch between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm is almost set. According to LA Times, the Bantamweight Championship return bout is slated for UFC 200 in Las Vegas on July 9, 2016.  Fans can go back to November 14 when Holm completed one of the biggest upsets in sports history by knocking out the then undefeated champ with a crushing head kick in the 2nd round.

According to a interview in ESPN The Magazine, Rousey came out and said if she loses again in her rematch, she will be done with MMA fighting.

I guess it’s all going to be determined by what happens in the rematch. Everything is going to be determined by that. Either I’ll win and keep going or I won’t and I’ll be done with everything.

Feeling defeated and experiencing a lot of depression, this rematch is real career make-or-break deal for the former UFC champ. The legacy as a dominant force in the sport of MMA will forever be remembered as she will often be compared to a female “Iron” Mike Tyson in the octagon. But if Ronda takes another L to Holm, don’t be surprised if you see Ronda trade in the UFC gloves for modeling, acting or possibly appearing in the WWE. Only time will tell.
