Popular Reggaetón artist and Spanish music creator Wisin’s next sonic effort will be developed in an unconventional way. The star will be working with raw talent from Univision’s music contestant show La Banda, injecting his urban sound into a Latino boy band’s freshman album.

The experienced Wisin will produce Sony Music label’s upcoming Hispanic offering.  A soon to be formed music groups five members, set to be revealed on the finale of La Banda this Sunday (Dec. 13), will begin their career with the famous Reggaeton song writer. Contestants of the Univision programming devised by none other than the infamous music competition curator Simon Cowell, have battled since September and it has come down to a select few talents. Judges and coaches on the show Ricky Martin, Laura Puasini and Alejandro Sanz will collectively manage the yet to be titled Latin boy group. A host of known Latino music authorities have come together to put out a Spanish sound they hope the world can get behind.
