Mac Miller has never been one to be on the forefront of socio-cultural issues but he recently took to his Twitter account and gave his 2 cents on the matter, being as candid as one can be on social media. Though he veiled his comments with jokes eluding to his usual lighthearted carefree demeanor, the Pittsburgh native gave his thoughts on racism, race relations and Donald Trump.

Back in 2013, Mac Miller expressed regret over naming one his biggest songs “Donald Trump,” “When he started running for president I was like, ‘Oh, f**k—this is horrible, I have a f**king song with this dude’s name and now he’s being such a douchebag.” Trump wasn’t too pleased with Miller’s sentiments and called him an “ungrateful dog.”
