Here’s A First Look At Lifetime’s Toni Braxton Biopic

Lifetime has released a new trailer in their attempt to give biopics another try: this time telling the tale of R&B legend Toni Braxton.

Titled Unbreak My Heart, the film is based off Toni’s memoir about her life, and gives all the details surrounding her highly publicized (and critiqued) financial struggles, relationship woes and family drama.

Lifetime hasn’t gotten the best feedback when it comes to their version of biopics, given last year’s messy release of an Aaliyah biopic (which didn’t have the support of the late singer’s family) and the public was on the fence about their take on Whitney Houston’s life.

This one may be different, as Braxton herself is executive producing the film in addition to guest starring in it.
