Without warning, 56 Nights, the third chapter of Future’s dominant mixtape trilogy, was released in March, and it included this Tarentino-produced ode to organized, codeine-induced chaos, featuring never-before-heard Future voice vibrations–“Like I’m playing for the MaAAavericks”–and a gospel-like dedication to completely losing yourself within the confinement of your thoughts and emotions. Of all the hits Future released and was a part of this year, from “Trap N***s” to “Where Ya At,” nothing quite connected as personally as “March Madness,” which has proved to be the first true anthem of the Atlanta native’s career.
