Last year, Meek Mill’s prison stint was brief, but it threw a monkey wrench in the momentum he built leading up to the release of his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money. However, in 2015, Meek returned even stronger than he left, and hit the ground running thanks to two features on Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint album, and a freestyle (“Monster”), that eventually turned into the song that peaked everyone’s interest in DWMTM once again. Enter “B-Boy,”–which was accidentally leaked to YouTube–featuring arguably the best performances of the year from Big Sean and A$AP Ferg, and an incredibly fun music video that brought summer fun to the frigid month of January. Meek looked triumphant, and his flame only burned harder as the months progressed.
