Over the past couple years, songs like “Act Right” and “F*ck You” blew up despite initially appearing on mixtapes or being deep album cuts. This time it’s “Down In The DM,” a celebration of what happens when the heart and eyeball emoji correspondence move from public timelines to private ones. The track has become the twerk and club banger of preference as we ease into 2016.
