When news broke Young Thug would be turning a viral Vine from “Tokyo Vanity” into a single and music video, few people saw it coming. The Atlanta native’s ode to his best friend (himself) is peak Thugger if we’ve ever seen it: left-field, off-key vocals, sensationalizing pop culture phrases (“I’ma eat the booty just like groceries”) and randomly vacillating flows that make sure a dull moment never occurs. The contagious choruses are expected from Thug by now, but this may be one of the best he’s ever done. Next time you’re in the spot with your best friend, you know exactly which song to request.
