Drake has accomplished quite a bit since he first gained national attention back in 2009. The Canadian star has broken several Billboard records, while also making some of the biggest hits of the past half decade. Many have even begun to put him in the conversation as one of the best given his success, but that all hit a blip this past summer during ghostwrite-gate.
Recently, Toronto based artist getatKAT posted a picture of herself and Drizzy on Instagram with the caption, “The GOAT of all Goats.” Washington Wizards swingman Alan Anderson, who used to play for Toronto Raptors, chimed with the comment, “Don’t get carried away sis. He’s one of the best but DEFINITELY not the goat.”
Though he used to play for the squad and city that Drizzy represents, Anderson remained objective in his approach. Drake caught wind of this and commented with a response of his own directly to the NBA player, simply putting “Give it time ?.”
