Talk about taking L’s in record setting fashion! The Philadelphia 76ers entered in the NBA record books for all of the wrong reasons. After their 104-90 defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies, the 76ers became the first team to lose the first 29 out of 30 games. This horrible start is not new to this disappointing franchise as they opened up 0-17 en route to just winning only 18 games last season.

Realizing that the season is transforming into another discouraging one to witness for Sixers fans, the front office may be planning to “tank” another season to land another lottery pick instead of just trading for well valued veterans. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver disapproves of this strategy but he knows that there’s nothing the league can do about it to stop this notion. Philadelphia has the youngest roster in the league with only two players who are older than the age of 24.
