Being dubbed Winter Storm Goliath, this monstrous blizzard has extended from eastern New Mexico, across the entire state of Texas, western Oklahoma, southwest Kansas and Colorado. Many states such as Utah, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and other areas in the Pacific Northwest have been hit with double digits of snow, causing millions to lose power.

Snow and ice are expected to reach the Northeast, which has experienced fall-like weather for most of December, as well as New England by Monday night, with snow developing across much of New England and parts of northern/eastern New York. A wintry mix is expected from southern New York into central Pennsylvania. The wintry weather should remain to the northwest of New York City. Boston could see some accumulating snow Monday night.
