Alongside a bevy of artists and DJs, Metro Boomin and DJ Oreo went head to head in Chicago’s third annual #OreoFest on Sunday (December 27.) The Red Bull sponsored event hosted some of hip hop’s elite and rising stars, including hype performances by Martin $Sky, Joey Purp + Kami (of Leather Corduroys), Z Money, Sterling Hayes, and T GainZ, along with special guests including Chicago natives Phor from VH1’s Black Ink Crew Chicago and Katie Got Bandz.
Housed at the Windy City’s north side vintage venue, Portage Theater, DJ Oreo, best known as the official DJ for Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa, went head-to-head with visiting super producer Metro Boomin, known for his raw, head-nodding beats for Young Thug and notable work on Future‘s Dirty Sprite 2 and What a Time to be Alive.

The night concluded with surprise guest performance by Lil’ Durk, who’s been romantically linked to Dej Loaf, featuring crowd favorites “Dis Ain’t What U Want” and “Faneto.”
