Did we expect him to continue to wear the mask all-season?
Derrick Rose is the point guard for the Chicago Bulls and most importantly the engine that drives the Bulls. Rose hasn’t had the best numbers since his return, he was shooting 35.7 Percent from the field while wearing the protective mask. His numbers have improved ever since he decided to get rid of the protective mask that he was instructed to wear after his orbital surgery. Rose has ditched the mask and has become more efficent from the field as he dropped 19 on the Thunder on Christmas, 25 against the Mavericks in a loss, and 20 on Toronto shooting 48.2 percent in those three games. Could he be back?
Rose on playing without the mask: “I really can’t tell the difference. It’s just that I’m getting my legs under me a little bit more.”

Rose gave new reason why he ditched mask: “I got too much Faith to be hiding behind something. So I took it off and put it in God’s hands.”
